The Robot

RoboTire’s revolutionary tire-changing system allows service centers to streamline work by automating routine processes and freeing up technicians to focus their time and effort on more intensive service requests.
01

3 Systems in 1

RoboTire’s carefully engineered end of arm tool houses three core systems: the vision system, the gripper, and the torque wrench. Powered by machine learning, these systems work together to automate the complete tire-changing process from start to finish.
01

3D Vision & Control

Onboard cameras drive RoboTire’s automated guidance system, enabling the robot to independently find the wheel, recognize socket requirements and positioning, and swiftly render 3D depth maps with submillimeter accuracy for total automated clarity of process.
01

Adaptive Gripper

RoboTire’s gripper automatically adjusts to securely fit a wide range of tires, ensuring a hands-off approach throughout the tire-changing process and allowing technicians to service other vehicles simultaneously.
01

Automated torque wrench

RoboTire’s torque wrench automatically removes and installs lug nuts throughout the tire-changing process, concluding with securing the wheels to the exact vehicle torque measurement.
02

Industrial-Grade Robotics

RoboTire uses the same robotic arms that automakers rely on for proven strength, capability, and durability in manufacturing facilities. Our six-axis arm provides the maneuverability and payload capacity needed for a complete tire change in 25 minutes or less.
03

Advanced intelligence

RoboTire automates the tire-changing process with the power of machine learning. One scan of the VIN code with our handheld controller is all the system needs to learn the exact specifications of the vehicle. RoboTire’s custom dashboard archives and stores the data for each vehicle, and can integrate with your point of sale or BI software.

Integrated safety

Each RoboTire system prioritizes the safety of service technicians with a custom array of safety sensors that monitor service bay activity and inform the robot to slow, stop, and resume activity based on personal proximity.
